Using Open Minds English
These terms describe the basic rules for using the website, booking lessons and accessing learning material.
Services
Open Minds English offers online English tutoring, self-learning material, a student dashboard, tutor communication tools and optional group lesson waiting list registration.
Lesson formats
- English 25 minutes.
- English 50 minutes.
- Trial Session, 25 minutes, currently free of charge.
- Group lessons may be offered when enough suitable students are available.
Bookings
Lessons are booked through the online booking system. A booking is confirmed when the booking system marks it as approved or otherwise confirmed. Availability may depend on tutor schedule, service type and account status.
Accounts
Students are responsible for keeping login details secure and for providing accurate contact and booking information. Tutors and administrators may use the dashboard to manage lessons, documents, messages and student-specific settings.
Prices and credits
Standard lesson prices are shown in the booking system. Some students may have individual prices based on previous arrangements. Prepaid credits may be assigned to an account and reserved or used when lessons are booked and completed.
Group lesson waiting list
Joining the waiting list is not a booking and does not guarantee a group lesson. Groups are proposed based on level, learning goals, availability and the number of interested students.
Learning material
Learning materials are provided for personal study. They may not be copied, published, redistributed or used commercially unless Open Minds English gives permission.
